Textbook Rentals

What is Rentback?

Rentback is the revolutionary rental program that allows you to sell your books for cash today, then rent them back for the remainder of the semester for a dollar.  Have you seen the commercial where the people say: “It’s my money and I want it now!”  Well, with the rentback program from Rams Book Store you really can have your cake and eat it too.

Who is Rentback for?rentback What is Rentback for Textbooks?

Rentback is for any student who has purchased books at the start of the semester, still needs them, but does not plan on keeping them at the end of the semester.  Why not go ahead and get cash back today to use for other expenses.  Rentback is ideal for those students who have had unexpected expenses arise but are currently short on cash.  Maybe you just need some gas money to head home for a mid-semester break. Whatever your need is, come in today and find out how much your books are worth.

How does Rentback work?

The best way to find out how Rentback works is to bring your books in to our off campus location at the corner of Laurel and Mason.  We will let you know how much your books are worth.  If you’re happy with the price we will give you the cash, and you can keep the books for the rest of the semester.  Once the semester ends we’ll send you a reminder to drop off the books before you head home for the break.

If you decide it’s not for you, we’ll still treat you to a slice of pizza from the Pizza Casbah.  (Limited to the first 200 customers)  Don’t delay – come in today and get a price quote.

If you have any books you don’t need anymore bring those in as well and we’ll give you cash for those too. Watch this video to learn more about the rentback program:

Brand new college students count on producing memories, interacting with as well as making brand new friends, as well as taking pleasure in exactly what it means to be in college. However, this is also the time to learn about the costly nature of textbooks and the subsequent sticker shock that usually sets in.

Most college students have no idea how fast university textbooks can add up. Occasionally, textbooks may even cost you as much as $500.00 for a semester. Having said that, there is certainly another route: You are now able to rent textbooks. These days it will be easy to rent textbooks for much less cash compared to what the price would be to purchase books completely new. Used copies do help save money, but only a 25% savings on average.
